Biokhimik JSC and Ogarev Mordovia State University signed a new cooperation agreement

Biokhimik JSC, member of PROMOMED GROUP, and the Ogarev Mordovia State University expanded cooperation by signing the agreement on the implementation of professional higher education programs to increase the human resources potential of the pharmaceutical enterprise of Biokhimik JSC.

The signing took place at the annual meeting of the Biokhimik JSC management with students.

«Today, large-scale technical modernization is being carried out at Biokhimik, production is expanding, innovative medicines are being developed and produced, and along with this new jobs are created,» said Dmitry Zemskov, executive director of the plant. «All our achievements are the result of the work of a professional team, and I offer you to become a part of it.»

According to Sergey Vdovin, rector of the Ogarev MSU, Biokhimik has been a strategic partner of the university for more than three years and during this period joint programs on education, research activities, students' industrial practice and training of plant employees on the basis of an educational institution have been successfully implemented.

«In recent years, MSU and Biokhimik have become closer to each other in terms of approaches and views on which specialists need to be trained for a career at the enterprise,» the rector said. He also explained that the new Agreement provides additional conditions, including those concerning new educational programs to meet the needs of the plant in training and advanced training of employees.

Ogarev Mordovia State University has been a strategic partner of Biokhimik JSC for many years in training highly qualified personnel. The plant has a joint department with the university for professional training in the «Chemical technology of synthetic and biological active substances». Students are trained for four years according to the bachelor's degree system; retraining of senior students is also carried out. In total, thousands of professionals have been trained for the plant during the cooperation with the university.
