More than 80 employees of Biokhimik JSC were awarded Russian, republican and corporate awards
More than 80 employees of Biokhimik JSC (member of the Promomed Group) received well-deserved awards from the hands of the Chairman of the Government of Mordovia Vladimir Sidorov, Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia Natalia Dolmatova, Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia Igor Gubaidullin, and Executive Director of Biokhimik JSC Dmitry Zemskov. The festive event was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the founding of the enterprise.
On November 5, 1959, the first batches of Soviet penicillin left the production line. The creation of the largest plant was an important milestone in the development of the pharmaceutical industry and significantly influenced the level of healthcare in the country.
For more than sixty years, the plant made a path from producing a first generation antibiotic to a modern, dynamically developing, innovative company of global level. Biokhimik JSC carries out research, development and production of products aimed at strengthening the national safety of drug supply.
For great contribution to the development of industry and dedicated work, 27 employees of the plant were awarded Russian and republican awards; the title of «Honorary Chemist of the Russian Federation» was awarded to Lyubov Bukharova Deputy Head of the Workshop for Technology; the badge of merit «For Selfless Labor» was awarded to the worker Olga Makarova. More than 50 employees received certificates of honor and gratitude from the management of Promomed Group. Employees who have worked at the plant for more than ten years have been awarded the title of «Veteran of Labor».
«We have done a great job to achieve everything that we have,» said Executive Director of Biokhimik JSC Dmitry Zemskov. «We have a strong team of specialists and managers. I am proud that we have such a team at the plant. I can say with confidence that now we can deal with any tasks, even the most ambitious ones.»
