Promomed Group presented digital solutions of its own development for labeling and aggregation

At the All-Russian conference «State regulation in the field of circulation of medicines and medical devices», which ended on Friday 11 June, 2021, the Promark company (member of the Promomed Group) for the first time presented to the market its own solution for products traceability management.
Promark’s solutions involve a full cycle of digitalization of the movement of controlled commodity groups in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation – from interaction with an emission registrar, through automation of labeling at the level of warehouses and production sites, to interaction with the State Information System for drugs turnover monitoring.

To date, a portfolio of products has been introduced to the market and is being successfully used: production lines for labeling and aggregation, system for reporting the movement of marked goods to the national labeling system «Honest Mark»; central production management system in terms of labeling and aggregation; a buffer system and a system for planning and statistical analysis of primary, secondary and tertiary sales of a pharmaceutical company.

The first partners who have implemented Promark’s solutions at their enterprises are logistics companies, importers, distributors, manufacturers of controlled commodity groups, including pharmaceuticals.
The Biokhimik pharmaceutical plant, the largest biotechnological production of Promomed, has become a platform for the development, testing and adaptation of digital solutions. During the event, Dmitry Zemskov, the executive director of Biokhimik JSC, spoke about the experience of the enterprise: «It took about two years to go through all the stages from concept development to the start of labeled products manufacturing. During this time, own equipment for serialization was created and installed, absolute accuracy of application and reading of the DataMatrix codes and data protection were ensured, and the problem of re-sorting during aggregation was solved.»
The developed solutions are applicable for the labeling of any product group. Currently, drugs, bioactive additives, dairy products, low alcohol drinks, drinking water, and other products are subject to mandatory labeling, the list of categories is expanding and these solutions are suitable for all of them.
Today, the DataMatrix coding is one of cheapest in terms of cost per mark among available marking systems on the Russian market.
