The head of Rospatent Yuri Zubov visited the Biokhimik plant of Promomed Group

The head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Yuri Zubov, visited the Biokhimik plant of Promomed Group as part of his working trip to the Republic of Mordovia. The head of the department visited the workshop for production of active pharmaceutical substances for new-generation antibiotics, the largest ampoule production facility in Russia and the company's R&D hub, where innovative drugs are being developed.

At the meeting, Petr Bely, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group, spoke about the intellectual potential of the company and shared plans for the development of new drugs and production facilities. The company continues to develop according to the approved strategy, maintains and exceeds the timelines of the announced programs. «In the new conditions, a wait–and-see approach is not our choice. On the contrary, we are increasing our production potential, launching new workshops for both finished dosage forms and pharmaceutical substances. In particular, next year another building for the production of full–cycle antitumor drugs in various therapeutic forms will be put into operation,» Petr Bely said. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group also noted the importance for the company of intangible assets – intellectual property.

The head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property Yuri Zubov wished the Promomed team further ambitious breakthrough developments for the benefit of strengthening the national health and the innovative potential of the country.
