Officials of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a visiting meeting at Biokhimik JSC, the manufacturing base of Promomed Group

The production facilities of Biokhimik JSC in Saransk, which is the manufacturing base of Promomed Group, was visited by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov accompanied by the Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov, Director of the Department for the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Dmitry Galkin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia Batir Emeev, Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia Igor Gubaidullin, and rector of the Ogarev Mordovia State University Dmitry Glushko.

The participants toured the new production areas and those under construction, including the plant for manufacturing pharmaceutical substances to be launched in spring 2023, and the state-of-the-art production facility for solid tablets with vacuum transfer capabilities commissioned in December 2022.

Vasily Osmakov got acquainted with the production process and highly appreciated the readiness level of the enterprise. At the working meeting, he spoke about the already available and developing state support measures that the enterprise can rely on.

Artem Zdunov noted that over the past few years, Biokhimik has made significant progress in developing its research and production potential. At the same time, there are a number of promising innovative projects, and it is important to involve the scientific component in their implementation and receive federal support.
