«Veteran Employee of Biokhimik» project was named among the winners of the contest to select best active longevity practices. The experience of the team of Biokhimik (member of Promomed Group) in supporting veteran older employees in self-study and self-development has been recognized by experts and the jury. The results of the competition were announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov and the General Director of the autonomous non-profit organization «National Priorities» Sofia Malyavina.

The inclusion of older people in the new corporate rhythm became the goal of a multi-project system implemented by Promomed Group. Last year, the first group of Biokhimik employees of pre-retirement age upgraded their qualifications under the program «Top Manager. Modern methods in team management» at RANEPA (Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration). The training was carried out as part of the «Demography» project. In cooperation with the administration of the Academy, a convenient schedule for classes was selected, comfortable conditions arranged, and assistance provided with online registration and in preparation of documents. All trainees successfully completed the course and were awarded with diplomas.

«We appreciate professionalism, constant self-perfection, passion for business,» commented Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of Biokhimik JSC. «I am pleased to see how the specialists at Biokhimik are growing. They have a desire to work and understand how important each of them is.»

The team of the practice decided to share their successful experience and sent an application for the «Active Longevity» contest. In total, 216 practices of improving the quality of life of the older generation from 85 regions were presented in the competition program but only 20 of them were selected for the final.

At the end of April, the presentation was held of the results of the second All-Russian contest to select best active longevity practices. The jury and experts marked the practice «Veteran Employee of Biokhimik», which was among the winners in the «Education and Employment» nomination. The practice is recommended for replication and dissemination for all interested organizations.
