Pharmacotherapy options for treatment of major endocrine diseases were discussed at the expert council in Irkutsk

With the support of Promomed Group and the Chief Endocrinologist of the Ministry of Health of the Irkutsk region and the city of Irkutsk Tatyana Bardymova as coordinator, a council of experts was held, where experts discussed topical issues of modern approaches to the treatment of obesity, diabetes mellitus and other diseases, as well as important issues of pharmacotherapy.


«We consider it socially responsible and important practice to interact with research institutes, and this practice should be continued. Such events are now becoming a particularly important format that brings together not only doctors and representatives of research institutes, but also participants in the pharmaceutical industry; in turn, this will accelerate the introduction of innovations, expand dialogue, and create a common information space,» commented Kira Zaslavskaya, Director for New Products at Promomed Group.

Among all, participants of the meeting included chief specialists from five regions of Russia and leading representatives of scientific departments, who discussed issues during which urgent needs for drugs requiring import substitution in the face of shortages were identified, as well as directions for finding innovations in the treatment of endocrine diseases.
