Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Petr Bely and Executive Director of Biokhimik JSC (part of the Promomed Group of Companies) Dmitry Zemskov took part in a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia chaired by the Acting Head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov with the directors of secondary vocational educational institutions. The event was dedicated to providing the economy of the Republic with qualified personnel.
Biokhimik plant of the Promomed Group, the largest employer in the region, expands cooperation with institutions of higher and secondary education, striving to participate in the training of future specialists at all stages of training. With the development of the plant, the opening of new production facilities and laboratories, the company is increasingly in need of young, talented specialists of various specialties.
The company's executives spoke about the example of many years of experience in cooperation with the Ogarev Mordovia State University, the work of the joint Department of professional training in the area of «Chemical technology of synthetic and biological active substances». The company trains students for four years according to the bachelor's degree system, and also retrains senior students. In total, thousands of professionals have been trained for the plant during the cooperation with the university.

According to the Acting Head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov, graduates of educational institutions who work closely with enterprises are successfully employed in their specialty. In confirmation of this, Executive Director of Biokhimik Dmitry Zemskov mentioned the successful functioning of the laboratory of Saransk Technical School of Services and Industrial Technologies at the enterprise. «This means that when the students complete their studies they are ready for professional activities, understand well what awaits them, and join the team as full members without the need for adaptation,» he explained, adding that the plant's production undergoes continuous modernization and in addition to narrow-profile specialists (chemists, microbiologists, technologists), the plant also needs power engineers, engineers, estimators, mechanics and many others.
