PROMOMED GROUP donated more than 1000 packages of Areplivir for the treatment of doctors of the Novosibirsk region for free

On March 12, 2021, as part of the implementation of the All-Russian program «Areplivir to doctors», the delegation of PROMOMED GROUP and the head of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Viktor Bondarev visited the Novosibirsk region. During the visit, a joint meeting with the chief doctors of medical institutions of the Novosibirsk region was held, co-chaired by the Governor Andrey Travnikov and Regional Minister of Health Konstantin Khalzov. The meeting was dedicated to measures to counteract the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
According to official data as of March 11, 2021, the second wave of the epidemic in the Novosibirsk region is gradually declining. On March 11, 97 Novosibirsk residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19, 104 patients recovered. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 36,902 people were infected in the region, and 33,790 Novosibirsk residents recovered. Doctors and nurses from the «red zones» of covid hospitals remain under high risk. It was for them that PROMOMED GROUP donated more than 1,000 packages of an antiviral drug to the regional Ministry of Health.
The governor of the region Andrey Travnikov expressed gratitude to the company for taking care of the health of Novosibirsk doctors. «Well, today we note that the incidence curve is going down. However, the risks of the «third wave» remain high, so the assistance provided was very timely,» he said.

During the «Areplivir to Doctors» campaign, we managed to save hundreds of lives of medical workers, who, in turn, saved the lives of tens of thousands of patients,» he explained.
Representatives of regional medical institutions told about successful experience of using Areplivir and also thanked their Moscow colleagues for implementing a charity program in the Novosibirsk region. At the end of the working meeting, Senator Viktor Bondarev and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Dmitry Pushkar, who participated in the meeting via video conferencing, expressed gratitude to the regional authorities and expressed confidence in the upcoming joint victory over the pandemic.
The All-Russian campaign «Areplivir – doctors» with the participation of governors, heads of executive and legislative authorities was successfully implemented in several subjects of the Russian Federation – Moscow, Leningrad, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Saratov, Kirov, Tula and Voronezh regions, the Republics of Mordovia and Dagestan, Perm Krai and other regions. In total, PROMOMED donated more than 16 thousand packages of the drug against coronavirus infection to doctors working in the «red zones».
