Today, at the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Promomed Group represented by Maxim Smagin, Director of Business Development, received the right to use the “Made in Russia” mark from the Russian Export Center (REC). The certificates were presented to the manufacturers by Veronika Nikishina, General Director of REC, Yuri Zubov, Head of Rospatent, and Maxim Protasov, Head of the Russian Quality System.

“The “Made in Russia” mark confirms the quality of the products of the most reliable Russian companies. This mark is also an opportunity to announce to the whole world about the company’s innovative solutions, unique and high–quality goods and services,” commented Veronika Nikishina.

“Promomed Group is always at the forefront of innovative development. We were the first to bring effective drugs for COVID-19 to the market: Areplivir and Esperavir. Now we are launching Radmin Viro, an innovative antiviral product, and Brainmax, a drug to improve brain function. To date, the Promomed Group’s portfolio includes more than 250 medicines, 80% of which are included in the VED list,” Maxim Smagin said at the ceremony. “Now we are staking on the development of export potential. We need new markets. I am sure that the “Made in Russia” label will support our export activities. The REC initiative is one of the necessary support measures. We are ready to work together so that our products marked “Made in Russia” are recognized all over the world.”

Promomed Group is already successfully operating in such CIS countries as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and the Republic of Belarus. Distribution agreements have been concluded with partners from Jordan, Iraq and the UAE. It is planned to enter the markets of China, Africa and the Andean Community.

The “Made in Russia” mark (dove-shaped graphic symbol colored as the Russian tricolor) is allowed to be used only for patented Russian-made products, including the Promomed Group’s Brainmax drug product. An innovative neuroprotector for improving memory and attention, improving performance and normalizing emotional state is the manufacturer's own development.

“Rospatent offers preferential conditions for conducting patent research and professional training in intellectual property protection for “Made in Russia” certificate holders. We have the task of exporting high-tech products, so it is important to pay special attention to the protection of intellectual rights. Today it is a prerequisite for working in foreign markets” explained Yuri Zubov.
