Employees of Biokhimik plant of Promomed Group planted the «Garden of Memory»

A series of festive events dedicated to the professional holidays of the team: the Day of Chemist, the Day of Pharmaceutical Worker and the Day of Medical Worker, employees of Biokhimik JSC opened with participation in the international action «Garden of Memory.» In the forest of the Krasnoslobodsky district, 20,000 pine seedlings were planted on an area of 4 hectares. The event was supported by the Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov.

Promomed Group considers concern for the future to be one of the main corporate values. Ecological and environmental protection issues, reducing the environmental footprint are always the focus of the company.

Biokhimik JSC pays much attention to compliance with the established environmental standards and regulations for the manufacture of drug products. The company uses dust and gas cleaning equipment to minimize emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, and implements an action plan to reduce emissions under unfavorable meteorological conditions.

During the production process, the generated waste shall be neutralized and transferred for disposal to specialized organizations.

The company implements a number of strategic initiatives for resource saving: collects recyclable materials and transfer for recycling, participates in municipal volunteer clean-ups and landscaping activities in the region.

The international action «Garden of Memory» was first held in 2020. Its goal is to memorize those killed during the Great Patriotic War by landing new forests.
