Promomed Group took part in the XII Annual Interdisciplinary In-ternational Congress «Manage Pain» in Moscow

Promomed Group took part in the annual Interdisciplinary International Congress «Manage Pain» and presented an interactive session «Two views on the problem of osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis: comparison of therapy approaches» with reports by famous speakers of the medical community — Andrey Danilov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Nervous Diseases at the Institute of Professional Education of the Sechenov MSMU, Alexandra Lila, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology, and Alexei Feklistov, Deputy Chief Physician of the Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology.

The purpose of the Congress is to disseminate advanced knowledge on the problem of pain, improve interaction between doctors of various specialties and international sharing of experience in organizing care and therapy for patients suffering from various pain syndromes. The event was organized with the participation of the International Pain Institute, the European Pain Federation, the Interventional Pain Management Association, the Russian Headache Society and others.

Speakers invited by Promomed made the following presentations: «Personalized approach to the therapy of patients with osteoarthritis» (A. Lila), «Results of a clinical study of the efficacy and safety of Ambene®Bio (Colibri)» (A. Feklistov) and «Osteochondrosis: a new look at an old problem» (A. Danilov). After the speeches, a discussion took place, where participants discussed the issues of timeliness of the initiation of symptom-modifying therapy and a personalized approach to patient management.

The experts gave recommendations to practicing specialists concerning drug therapy of patients with osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis. They demonstrated the advantages of a short course of Ambene®Bio consisting of 10 injections for the entire course of therapy, highlighting the results of a comparative clinical study of efficacy and safety («Colibri»), which confirmed that the therapeutic effect of the drug lasts up to 6 months.
