PROMOMED and Vinafarm Signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Pharmaceutical Cooperation in Vietnam

At the ceremony, the Ministers of Health of Vietnam and the Russian Federation were present, highlighting the bilateral commitment to the development of the healthcare system.

Hanoi, September 12, 2025 — During the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation to Vietnam, leading Russian biopharmaceutical company PROMOMED (PROMOMED PJSC) and the Vietnamese pharmaceutical corporation Vinafarm signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing strategic cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical production

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed during an official ceremony held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, and the Minister of Health of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Dr. Dao Hong Lan, as well as other senior government officials and distinguished guests.


The agreement outlines the conditions for cooperation in areas such as the commercialization and distribution of high-quality medicines, the development of manufacturing technologies, technology transfer for the production of biological and biosimilar drugs, research and synthesis of new molecules, and the expansion of patient access to innovative therapies in Vietnam.


According to Petr Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PROMOMED PJSC:
“This partnership agreement with Vinafarm confirms our commitment to jointly providing innovative healthcare solutions. We are proud to contribute to strengthening the health of the Vietnamese people by leveraging our extensive expertise in research and development, as well as our proprietary technologies for producing innovative, socially significant medicines. For PROMOMED, this cooperation marks an important step in expanding access for doctors and patients to our innovative drugs and in strengthening the Company’s presence in Vietnam through collaboration with the country’s leading pharmaceutical corporation.”


Ms. Han Thi Khanh Vinh, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vinafarm, stated:

The Memorandum of Understanding reflects the shared commitment of both parties to advancing bilateral cooperation, improving the quality of Vietnam’s national healthcare system, and strengthening and deepening long-term partnerships between representatives of the pharmaceutical industries of Vietnam and Russia.
