Promomed Group took part in the XX Moscow City Congress of Endocrinologists

Recently, the anniversary Moscow City Congress of Endocrinologists “Endocrinology of the capital – 2024” took place in Moscow. This conference was chaired by Mikhail Antsiferov, the chief freelance endocrinologist of the Moscow Department of Health, President of the Endocrinological Dispensary of the Moscow Department of Health, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences.

During the three congress days, more than 1,500 specialists from Russia and other countries discussed the treatment of obesity and diabetes mellitus, promising scientific projects focused on basic research, and the implementation of a multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of patients with endocrine disorders.

As part of the scientific program, PROMOMED held a scientific symposium: “Informed timely therapy for weight loss as an investment in the metabolic health and the quality of life of patients” with the participation of leading endocrinologists of our country. Speakers Alexander Ametov, Head of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology of the FSBEI “Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education” (RMANPO) of the Russian Ministry of Health, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Tatyana Markova, Head of the Department of Endocrinology of the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 52 of the Moscow Department of Health, Professor of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology of the Medical Faculty of the Evdokimov Moscow State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, noted Promomed’s drugs Reduxin Forte (sibutramine+metformin), Enligria (liraglutide) and Quincenta (semaglutide) as recommended for the treatment of patients with overweight and type 2 diabetes mellitus. They also highlighted the benefits of these drugs for restoring metabolic health and increasing the life expectancy of patients.
